The Partnership Forums in Bolton aim to strengthen school governance by providing information about local and national initiatives and changes in government legislation. The forums help support effective communication between governing boards and the local authority and promote cohesive working within the Bolton family of schools.
The Partnership Forums are held on a termly basis and the membership is based on attendance of one governor per school or academy – the ‘partnership governor/trustee’. If the nominated governor/trustee is unable to attend any of the meetings, a substitute governor may attend in their place.
The Partnership Forums are held at 6.30 pm at the Bolton Science and Technology Centre unless notified otherwise. The sessions last for approximately 2 hours. Attendance is free of charge to all boards within the Bolton family of schools and academies.
